Bedrock Search Application Acquires Enhanced Functionality

Differentiated by its n-gram approach to contextual search, fault tolerance, language independence, and ability to scale across multiple repositories and terabytes of enterprise data, Globalbrain is the engine that underpins Brainware Distiller’s intelligent data capture technology.

In addition to such enhancements as an RSS feed and more robust performance monitoring and system audit capabilities, Globalbrain is leading the way by providing users:

• The ability to preview a full document—even images—with embedded highlights that match the search terms.
  



• Search list processing, which allows a user to upload a database list or spreadsheet as a query. This feature enables a powerful ability to cross-reference data sources; for example, it would allow governmental authorities to search checks against a terrorist watch list.
  

Brainware customers have selected Globalbrain search technology, as both a standalone application and a supplement to Distiller-enabled document processing efficiency, to spend less time seeking data and more time putting data to use.
