Microsoft Hosts Brainware at Partner Executive Summit

Brainware Invited to Exclusive Meeting with Microsoft Executives

July 12, 2011, Ashburn, VA —Brainware, Inc., the leading provider of intelligent data capture and enterprise search solutions, announced today that, based on the strength of the rapidly developing strategic relationship between the companies, Microsoft hosted Brainware executives for its exclusive Partner Executive Summit held during the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Los Angeles from July 11-14. Brainware has been identified as having a unique ability to materially influence Microsoft revenue for complementary technologies that are of strategic importance to Microsoft, including SQL Enterprise, Azure, SharePoint and Dynamics.

Brainware—a member of the Managed ISV Program, a designation given to fewer than 1% of all Microsoft ISVs—is also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with a competency in ISV/software solutions. Brainware was selected for this program based not only on the strength of its Distiller intelligent data capture solution’s unmatched success in automating document-centric business processes for Global 2000 companies, but also for the vision and innovation behind Brainware’s technologies.

In a very short period, Brainware has influenced significant revenue to Microsoft through a number of joint customers, including through one of the world’s largest financial institution’s wholesale lockbox processing for hundreds of millions of remittance documents annually, a worldwide religious organization’s global invoice processing operation, a global media conglomerate’s accounts payable shared service center, and one of Northern California’s largest casino resort destinations’ invoice processing operations.

“Brainware Distiller delivers a measurable return on investment that captures the attention of senior executives from the largest companies in the world,” says Carl Mergele, Brainware’s Chief Executive Officer. “At a time when many applications are fighting for mindshare and budget, having a proven track record of success and customer loyalty is a requirement. We continue to drive innovation in our core technologies and our products, and this aligns with Microsoft’s visions for its strategic enterprise software applications.”

Just last week, Brainware announced that it has successfully deployed Distiller on Microsoft Azure, making it the first intelligent data extraction application to be offered as a service. Distiller’s unique ability to extract data with 90+% accuracy at a field level, out-of-the-box, from new, previously unseen documents, makes it a perfect application for SaaS-based delivery in a multi-tenant model. New customers can start processing invoices without having to set up any templates, keywords, anchors, zones, vendor profiles or forms of any type. This enables new customers to deploy Distiller quickly, without the overhead required to support on-premise software, and yield an immediate time to benefit. Brainware’s Chief Technology Officer, David Luzier, will be demonstrating Distiller on Azure at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) 2011 in the Azure BG Booth #1235 on Wednesday, July 13.
