Conference Explores Case Studies, Best Practices for Automating Business Processes
January 30, 2012, Ashburn, VA—Brainware, Inc., the market leader for intelligent data capture, announced today that the company’s Vice President of Marketing, Charles Kaplan, will be leading an instructional session, “Mastering Data Automation,” at Capture 2012, taking place February 5-7 at the Hyatt Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. The presentation, which will include a number of observed case studies, will help conference attendees identify opportunities for data automation in their organizations; evaluate and prioritize potential investments in automation using a portfolio approach; and plan for and communicate the changes to business processes and organizational structures that will increase the speed and efficiency of their programs.
“Through a number of events and programs we’ve undertaken with the Institute of Financial Operations, Brainware has gathered a great deal of insight into the pain points faced by financial personnel involved with critical, document-driven business processes,” said Kaplan, who will also be joining a number of other IT vendor representatives for a panel discussion, “The Biggest Mistakes Organizations Make in Automating Transactions.” “A wealth of information exists to demonstrate the value of data capture technology in the financial space, and I look forward to engaging with those seeking an inside track in achieving world-class performance, from the mailroom to the boardroom.”
Brainware recently sponsored the Institute’s global survey of financial professionals, “2011 Global Trends in Automated Data Capture in AP,” detailing the real-world benefits, challenges, limitations and motivations associated with implementing data capture technology in accounts payable across various regions and industrial verticals.
